Countless hours of working on my craft and sharing my story with anyone who would listen – sometimes 50 people, sometimes 1 person.
Numerous occasions of having people close to me explain that I wasn’t doing things right and that I should do things their way or I wouldn’t succeed.
6 attempts to publish. 5 rejections.
Dozens of nights writing and editing till 2am. Lots of struggle, moments of discouragement, and feelings of giving up.
4 years and 35,000 words later, honored to announce that I’ve signed a publishing contract with Cedar Fort, Inc.
Couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to make an impact by sharing my personal experiences concerning pain, discouragement, mental illness, heartbreak — and what I’ve learned and who I’ve become to cope with and overcome those challenges.
Whether you may struggle with mental illness, are being bullied by those much more insecure than you, are challenged with loneliness or emotional pain, can’t seem to feel like anything you do is good enough, or any other number of “growing experiences”, this book will help you know that it’s ok not to be ok, and that struggling and falling down is all part of life, but what matters most is continuing to move forward and getting back up.
If I can do it, so can you!
